Description

This waterfront residence required water access for installation, and it was positioned from the lake side. With an existing cottage already present on the site, we engaged in discussions with the municipality and conducted site sensitivity analysis. As a result, we chose to maintain the location of the existing structure under grandfathered rights. Thus, after removing the old cottage, we erected this new bunkie in its place. Given the constraints of water access and the aim to minimize site disturbance, opting for prefab construction was the clear choice. Leveraging our expertise in prefab techniques, we embraced the opportunity to transport and place a unit by boat onto the existing footprint.
